Baptisms in Slovakia

On Saturday August 27th 2022, the first baptisms were held in the community of Rožňava in Slovakia, when two little boys, Teodor and Matteo, were baptised by Fr. Zoltán Drenkó, surrounded by family and friends.

The joyful ceremony took place in the community’s new chapel (acquired by rent), in the building of a former Franciscan Monastery in the centre of Rožňava.

The Rožňava community which was formally received as member of the Nordic Catholic Church in June after the ordination of Fr. Zoltán Drenkó, is growing. There are currently 8 adult catechumens being prepared for baptism by Fr. Zoltán.

We wish God’s richest blessing upon Teodora, Matteo and their families.
