About Rev. Fr. Diego González Ruiz
Father Diego (born 1949) holds a Master’s in Dogmatic Theology from the Catholic Faculty of San Dámaso in Madrid, a Bachelor’s in Medieval History from the University of Murcia and a doctorate in Hispanic Philology from the University of A Coruña (Spain), with a thesis on Spanish baroque spiritual literature in 17th century. For several years he served as a priest in La Iglesia Española Reformada Episcopal (church member of the Anglican Communion and the Union of Utrecht), until he left the Church in the early nineties.
Having retired from his position as professor of Spanish Literature, Father Diego is now dedicating his time, with the grace of God, to carry out a pastoral mission in Spain under the protection of Bishop Roald Nikolai, within the framework of the Nordic Catholic Church and the Union of Scranton.
